We are NYC HERizons, a team of ten women from different ages, backgrounds, and running journeys united by one goal:
To showcase women's strength, community, and limitless possibility as we come together to journey through one of the world's most epic relay races: The Speed Project.

A nonstop foot relay from Los Angeles to Las Vegas
No rules. No spectators. Just heart, teamwork, and grit.
For many of us, this race isn't just about running.
It's about showing up for the women who were told they "weren't fast enough," "weren't strong enough," or "weren't built for this."
It's about proving that women can run far, run fierce, and run together and create space for the next generation to do the same.
Together we are "H"eoric "E"mpowered "R"unners — but we can't do this alone & we need your support.
