Natalia
New York, NY
I'm Natalia an Ecuadorian American, born and raised in Brooklyn, living in Manhattan & running wherever my legs take me. I'm supported by NYC's running communities with MileStyle serving the South Bronx as my runmilia. I have a reconstructed, jankity knee & I always believed running wasn't for me. Started during the pandemic with an 18 minute mile & I'm still a proud back of the pack (BOTP) run/walker; glad to be able. I ran my first marathon in 2021. Since then: 24 marathons, countless shorter races, a two time 6 Star World Marathon Majors finisher, 7 Star finisher, ultramarathoner, endurance series finisher, and TSP Class of 2025 finisher. I run for my mental health to fight anxiety & depression, to honor family who can't walk anymore and my cheerleaders watching from Heaven. I run to show BOTP runners that your pace is valid, your path is yours, and believing in yourself can change everything.
I'm running TSP to find freedom, strength, and connection in every stride, transforming challenges into resilience. I want to inspire women to step out of their comfort zones to discover their own power through the simple act of running free at their pace covering any distance. United in purpose may we find victory in starting new journeys that transform us into the high caliber athletes of our dreams.
Why The Speed Project
TSP represents freedom like no other where no two moments are the same. Im excited to traverse the unknown, create memories & push boundaries with the NYC HERizons! Pressure is a privilege & this experience will be the adrenaline my heart thrives on.
Building Community
Running brought light to darkness. Opening my eyes to a community I never knew existed & my life is richer because of it. Together Everyone Achieves More!!
